January 2018

Blog

I’ve been very slack with maintaining this website so I’ve decided to go back to 2018 and edit images and posting some on the website as a bit of a photo journal.

On the 27th January 2018, I accompanied my son on a 4WD adventure to Stockton Beach NSW with my little Sony Rx-100 and snapped some images of the day.

MV Sygna was a 53,000 tonne Norwegian bulk carrier and now shipwreck on Stockton Beach in the Port Stephens LGA in New South Wales, Australia.[1] The ship ran aground during a major storm on 26 May 1974 and the wreck has become an icon and landmark for the local area.

The notorious Bluebottle is the pest that can ruin a beautiful day at the beach. It can whack a nasty sting behind it’s beautiful blue exterior.

Whenever I go to the beach, I LOVE snapping images of the little waves breaking along the shore. There is something mesmerising about that. It’s the sight, sound and smell of the whole thing.
